Chatham Sailings

Step aboard the barge from the pontoon outside Chatham Marina and enjoy a tour of the River Medway’s rich Naval history. There are several options available (click on the bold lettering to view the dates). These include 3 hour morning or lunchtime trips, or a full day sail allowing the whole river to be explored. We have also teamed up once again with Dickens World to offer a great family package.

Sailing from Chatham provides the perfect platform from which to view the Medway’s rich history, from the ancient castles at Upnor and Rochester to the Napoleonic forts off Hoo, which still stand defiantly waiting to defend from the ghosts of the French Armada.
