Valentine’s Day this year was a very special occasion aboard the Edith May, as the barges hold was turned into an intimate restaurant for 10 couples.
With Tessa Billington’s beautiful harp playing accompanying each of the delicious courses and Sam Palacios returning to play love songs on his guitar, the romantic atmosphere was complete.
We look forward to staging similar evenings aboard the barge in future, as demand was extremely high for this night. Details of future dates will be sent to the mailing list and posted on the website. Please send us your email if you would like to be the first to hear of the latest events.
Both Tessa and Sam are available to hire for any special occasion and come very highly recommended from all at the Edith May Trading Company. Please visit www.tessabillington.co.uk or www.sampalacios.co.uk for more information.

Congratulations and many thanks for the most enjoyable dinner we have had in a long time; lovely food, [simple choices and no messing with long menus], nice wine, no ramsden antics from the galley, clearly a professional Maitre d. and wine waiter; subtle service, and the much appreciated touch of roses for the ladies, and live gentle harp and guitar in the background, to create a unique, special and relaxing atmosphere.
Can’t get better than that so bring on the next one.
Thank you all for coming, we were extremely pleased with how the evening went and your kind comments are much appreciated.
Thanks again from all on the Edith May and we look forward to welcoming you aboard again soon!
